Gateway of India

Marine Drive

Marine Drive, popularly known as the “Queen's Necklace”, is a waterfront promenade of approximately 4 kilometres in South Mumbai.

At night, the lights along the road create a spectacular view resembling a necklace of jewels. It is an ideal place to walk, relax beside the Arabian Sea and enjoy local street food.

Elephanta Caves

The Elephanta Caves are located approximately 9 kilometres from the Gateway of India in Mumbai Harbour. The complex contains ancient rock-cut temples and some of India's most impressive sculptures.

The main temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and features large halls, courtyards, shrines and pillars. One of its most remarkable sculptures is the three-faced representation of Sadhashiva, symbolizing different aspects of Shiva.

Siddhivinayak Temple

Siddhivinayak Temple is an important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Built in 1801, it attracts numerous devotees and visitors every day.

The temple is also visited by Bollywood personalities and other prominent figures who come to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Ganesha. Entry to the temple is free.

Colaba Causeway Market

Colaba Causeway, also known as Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, is one of Mumbai's most popular shopping areas. Its streets are filled with shops, stalls and boutiques.
