e-Visa Overview
India offers an electronic visa (e-Visa) system for citizens of 150+ countries. The e-Tourist Visa allows stays of up to 90 days for tourism, sightseeing, and casual visits. Applications are processed online within 72 hours, and the visa is valid for 1 year from the date of issue with double entry permitted.

Airport Arrival Tips
Upon arrival at Delhi, Mumbai, or any major airport, proceed to the e-Visa immigration counter. Keep a printed copy of your e-Visa approval. Immigration typically takes 15-30 minutes.
